Find the right colour for your room orientation

North facing

North facing bedrooms are usually darker as they receive less natural light. Warm colours like yellows, reds, and oranges are best for north facing rooms. Colours with warm undertones work well if you’d prefer a more subtle colour to brighten the room.

East and West facing

East room orientations normally get natural light in the morning while west facing rooms are lighter in the afternoons. Neutrals are a safe choice for both room orientations if you’d like to make the most of the natural light all day.

South facing
