Delivery

Here’s everything you need to know about how your order gets to you:

Colour Cards & Swatches

Unless ordered with other items, our colour cards and swatches are sent free of charge and via Royal Mail Second Class.
Please note: Royal Mail can sometimes experience delays, so your samples may take a little longer to arrive.

Sample Pots (Up to 6)

If you’re ordering up to 6 sample pots, these will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, so you’ll be able to track their journey to your door.

Larger orders (7+ Sample Pots or full size items)

For 7 or more sample pots, or any larger items, we’ll send your order via a courier on a standard home delivery service.
Please make sure to include your email and mobile number at checkout so we can send you tracking details.

Delivery days

Deliveries are made within our courier’s standard operating hours Monday to Friday. No deliveries are made on weekends or Bank Holidays. Please note our warehouse and offices are closed on bank holidays in the UK and between Christmas and New Year – dispatches and deliveries will not be made during these periods.

Delivery timelines

We do our best to despatch orders as quickly as possible (we’re pretty speedy!), so your paint should usually arrive within 2–3 working days.
If you order on a Friday or over the weekend or Bank Holiday, we’ll process it the next working day and your parcel should land within a couple of days after that. 

If you’re not home when your delivery arrives, it will be left in a safe place whenever possible.

For larger orders that require a pallet, please allow an extra working day for dispatch.

Delivery costs

Colour Cards and Swatches: Free delivery - 5-7 days

Sample Pots (6 or less): Free delivery - Tracked 48 hours

Sample Pots (7+): Free delivery - Up to 3 working days

Decorating Tools, Furniture Wax, Wall Glaze, Pigments, Apron: £3.30 delivery - Tracked 48 hours

All other items: £5.00 delivery - Up to 3 working days

Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly: £9.95 delivery - 2-5 working days

Cancellations or amends

You can edit your order to change your delivery address, as well as cancelling it, up to 30 minutes after it has been submitted. Because we start fulfilling orders as soon as possible, your order cannot be edited after 30 minutes. Please contact sales@earthbornpaints.co.uk or phone 01928 734171 as soon as possible if you need to make any changes.

If you would like to cancel your order you must do so within 14 days. If your order has already been dispatched, then it will need to be returned before we can process your refund.

Any cancelled items will need to be returned unopened in their original packaging for us to be able to accept them (we’ve got to be careful with returned goods, because if dust or other nasty bits get into the paint, we can’t use it again).

Please note:

  • We must be notified within 14 days of delivery if you wish to cancel or return your order.
  • All cancelled items must be returned unopened and in their original packaging to be eligible for a refund.
  • We’re unable to accept returns of opened, used, bespoke, or discontinued items.

Returns

We understand that sometimes too much paint is ordered, and it needs to be returned to us. We are therefore happy to have any unopened paint purchased directly from our website (www.earthbornpaints.co.uk) returned to us.

If you’d like to return your unopened paint, please notify us within 14 days by completing the returns form and return to us within 28 days of purchase for a full refund. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any items that have been opened or used.

 Please Note: Customers must arrange (at their own cost) to return the goods to the address above. You must also return the goods in a saleable condition, either with the same packaging as when it was received, or with equivalent packaging. Please note we cannot refund items that have damaged while in transit due to improper packaging. Items will be checked upon return before payment is refunded and payment can take up to 14 days from the day the item is received.
