How to upcycle with Earthborn Eco Chic furniture paint

Follow our 4 easy steps to upcycle your own piece of furniture this Spring.

Step 1 – Preparation

Give your piece of wood furniture a quick clean removing any dust, oils and grease. Of course we recommend a natural cleaning product such as diluted White Vinegar solution to get the job done quickly. Don’t have a piece of furniture yet? Don’t worry – Social media platforms and apps such as Marketplace are great ways to find bargain pieces to upcycle.

Step 2 – Apply

Choose your colour: Our Eco Chic Furniture paint is available in 72 stunning signature shades. Our Creamy Claypaint formula doesn’t require any primers and perfect coverage can be achieved in one coat. Just apply Eco Chic directly onto your wooden furniture using a brush or a roller… yes, it’s really that simple!

Step 3 – Make it unique (Optional)

Step 4 – Protect

Choose from Earthborn Furniture Wax or Furniture Glaze to finish transforming your furniture into a masterpiece.

Earthborn Furniture Wax is a clear buttery soft and water-resistant wax that provides a protective satin finish to interior wood surfaces. It can also be used over Eco Chic to produce a durable and decorative effect on furniture. Waxed surfaces will remain breathable, protected and maintained, repelling water, dust and grease.

Earthborn Furniture Glaze is a water-based, clear glaze designed to protect painted pieces from everyday use. Introduced as an alternative to our soft, clear Furniture Wax, Earthborn Furniture Glaze offers a higher level of protection making it ideal for busy family life. For use over natural wood or Eco Chic, it offers a durable, wipeable finish that repels dust and is especially perfect as a topcoat for Crackle effects. As a non-yellowing clear solution, it’s easy to apply and dries to a soft sheen finish.
