A breath of Fresh Air

Our 2026 collection welcomed a delightful mix of brand new colours and the return of a few old favourites, creating a refreshing mix of daring and comfort.

One colour that we just had to bring back to our classic range was Fresh Air. It’s an easy breezy white with just a whisper of blue, leaving your space feeling fresh, open and airy. It’s truly a breath of fresh air in most rooms.

If you’re lucky enough to be decorating a south-facing space (the golden ticket when it comes to room orientation!), Fresh Air is a great choice. This soft white with a refreshing twist has cool blue undertones that beautifully balance the natural sunlight.

It also works beautifully as a clean base, creating an open, welcoming backdrop that lets bolder shades like Gingham, Bobble Hat, or even Can-Can really stand out.

It’s also a great shade for on-trend looks like hand-painted stripes, especially when paired with a cheerful blue such as Quick Dip, as shown below. Another trend it suits perfectly is two-tone walls, with the lower half painted in a bolder colour for contrast and interest.

This approach works particularly well in smaller rooms, where a lighter shade on the upper walls helps to elongate and open the space, making it feel larger. For an easy way to refresh a living or dining room without it feeling too bold, try painting the walls in Fresh Air and pairing it with a tonal shade such as Feather Pillow, Bugle or Flutterby on the skirting and trim. This adds subtle detail while keeping the overall look calm and balanced.

With so many beautiful choices, it can be hard to settle on the right colours for your home. That’s where our handy colour tools come in, from painted swatches to 100ml sample pots, both are an easy way to try out your favourite shades and see how they look in your own space.
