REAL HOMES | Our favourite pink interiors

We love seeing your home makeovers, whether it’s a simple upcycle, a room makeover or a full exterior paint job.

This year, we’re seeing the rise of the Barbiecore trend, so pink interiors are having a moment. While you might not want to paint your whole house in pink (though if you do, we’d love to see!), pink is popping up everywhere in interiors from bright magenta to blushing pastels so you can be as subtle or as full-on Barbie as you’d like.

Take a look at some of our favourite pink interior makeovers to inspire you on how to decorate with pink…

Upcycled pink furniture

Dipping into the trend with an eco friendly upcycle, Elena (@ellashausofcolour) gave her console table a makeover using our creamy Eco Chic furniture paint. Elena used our burnt coral hue Delilah as the backdrop for a contrasting Rosie Posie checkerboard pattern.

The result? A unique, wonderfully eclectic piece of furniture that feels right at home in her maximalist living room. To help protect her masterpiece Elena applied a finishing coat of our buttery Furniture Wax.

This is ideal if you just want to dip your toe into the pink trend, or you’re in rented accommodation and aren’t able to paint the walls. Adding a splash of colour with furniture is a great alternative.

Pink bathroom ideas

Why not try a splash of pink in your bathroom? It can really help to boost your energy in the morning while also providing a pleasant surprise for guests.

Kirsty (@labelsforlunch) shows us how in her pink bathroom, which instantly fills us with joy. Matching her fixtures to our floral pink Rosie Posie, Kirsty gives a whole new meaning to the trend of ‘colour drenching’. The result is fun, whimsical, and well…we just love it!

If you have a smaller guest bathroom or powder room, these are ideal spaces to try something completely different from the rest of your home.

Pink bedroom ideas

Pink has always been a popular colour for little ones’ bedrooms, but they often grow out of the colour quickly, meaning you’re reaching for the paintbrush again.

Catherine (@peonie.cole.cottage) used our grown up pink, Cupcake, in her daughter’s bedroom.

By opting for a delicate pastel pink and adding sophisticated detail with panelling, Catherine has created a bedroom fit for a princess that her daughter can enjoy for years to come.

Pink exterior paint

Not every house can pull off having the exterior painted pink, but this gorgeous country cottage certainly does! It’s a great choice for seaside homes too.

Our Silicate Masonry Paint is highly breathable and durable making it perfect for older properties and is available in 48 colours, including an array of gorgeous pinks.

Suffolk, shown here on this stunning property, is our pink hue with orange undertones. Nestled behind a garden filled with wildflowers, Suffolk radiates a positive and playful energy which makes this home feel inviting and joyful.
