Here’s everything you need to know about how your order gets to you:
Colour Cards & Swatches
Unless ordered with other items, our colour cards and swatches are sent free of charge and via Royal Mail Second Class. Please note: Royal Mail can sometimes experience delays, so your samples may take a little longer to arrive.
Sample Pots (Up to 6)
If you’re ordering up to 6 sample pots, these will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, so you’ll be able to track their journey to your door.
Larger orders (7+ Sample Pots or Full-Size Items)
For 7 or more sample pots, or any larger items, we’ll send your order via a courier on a standard home delivery service. Please make sure to include your email and mobile number at checkout so we can send you tracking details.
Delivery days
Deliveries are made within our courier’s standard operating hours Monday to Friday. No deliveries are made on weekends or Bank Holidays. Please note our warehouse and offices are closed on bank holidays in the UK and between Christmas and New Year – dispatches and deliveries will not be made during these periods.
Delivery timelines
We do our best to despatch orders as quickly as possible (we’re pretty speedy!), so your paint should usually arrive within 2–3 working days. If you order on a Friday or over the weekend or Bank Holiday, we’ll process it the next working day and your parcel should land within a couple of days after that.
If you’re not home when your delivery arrives, it will be left in a safe place whenever possible.
For larger orders that require a pallet, please allow an extra working day for dispatch.
Delivery costs
Cancellations or amends
You can edit your order to change your delivery address, as well as cancelling it, up to 30 minutes after it has been submitted. Because we start fulfilling orders as soon as possible, your order cannot be edited after 30 minutes. Please contact sales@earthbornpaints.co.uk or phone 01928 734171 as soon as possible if you need to make any changes.
If you would like to cancel your order you can do so within 14 days. If your order has already been dispatched, then it will need to be returned before we can process your refund.
Any cancelled items will need to be returned unopened in their original packaging for us to be able to accept them (we’ve got to be careful with returned goods, because if dust or other nasty bits get into the paint, we can’t use it again).
We understand that sometimes too much paint is ordered and it needs to be returned to us.
We are therefore happy to have any unopened paint purchased directly from our website (www.earthbornpaints.co.uk) returned to for a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot accept any items that have been opened or used.
If you’d like to return your unopened paint, please notify us within 14 days by completing the returns form.
Return Form
Please return goods to us within 28 days of purchase for a full refund.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund items that have been opened or used, or accept returns of any bespoke or discontinued colours.
Damages or any other issues
We want you to love your paint – from the colour to the finish – so if something’s not quite right, let us know and we’ll sort it.
If your order arrives damaged or you experience any issues, please get in touch with our friendly customer service team as soon as possible. We’ll guide you through the next steps to get things resolved quickly and smoothly.
Received the wrong colour?
If you think you’ve received the wrong shade, drop us an email at enquiries@earthbornpaints.co.uk with your product details, including the batch number (you’ll find it on the bottom of the tin). We’ll also need to see a brush-out sample of the paint so we can check the colour properly.
A quick note on colour variations
Colours can look a little different in real life than they do on screen – that’s the nature of light, technology, and surfaces! Slight variations can also happen between batches and finishes. Things like the type of surface, texture, lighting, and how the paint is applied all play a part in how the final colour appears.
Colour Cards
Our colour cards are sprayed with real Earthborn paint, so they give a reliable match within normal batch tolerances. Still, slight differences can happen due to batch changes or finish type, and again, the surface and lighting will affect the look.
Refunds
We will issue the refund no later than 14 days after the day on which you told us that you want to cancel or returned the paint. We will issue your refund to the same payment method you used to pay for the order.
