Earthborn X Together Travel

Together Travel lies deep in the lush green landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. Just one of many beautiful locations across the UK, Together Travel offers a stunning choice of accommodation for families to reconnect with each other and nature. Like us, Together Travel is a business built on the foundations of sustainability, luxury and quality – so when we were approached for help decorating one of their lodges we couldn’t wait to get started!

Inspiration

Inspired by the breathtaking natural surroundings of the lodge, a thoughtful colour palette was curated to evoke a sense of serenity and tranquillity. Earthy tones, reminiscent of the landscape, were used to create a cohesive and calming atmosphere throughout the space. Various painting techniques such as framing, colour blocking, and zoning were used to define areas while maintaining an open and airy feel.

Living Room and Kitchen

Upon entering Lodge 4, you are greeted by a huge open plan living room and kitchen. South Facing, natural daylight is copious and flows freely through the enormous glass windows running the entire length of the lodge. The abundance of natural clear light meant any of our colours worked well in this space allowing Together Travel endless choices.

Trilby was used around the black windows, up to the ceiling and corners to ‘frame’ and enhance the view of the landscape from inside the lodge. Secret Room creates a calming nook around the fire, separate from the rest of the space whilst Peach Baby is drenched across the ceiling and into the kitchen to connect the spaces.

Master Bedroom

Green continues to dominate in the master bedroom with an analogous duo of Gregory’s Den and Sunday Stroll. Reminiscent of morning mist blanketing the surrounding landscape, Gregory’s Den is washed over the walls, ceiling and skirting.

Sunday Stroll has matching grey undertones but with slightly more depth and was used to create a painted canopy over the bed creating a soft focal point in the space. Accents of mellow ochre Humpty Dumpty add a playful pop of colour through an upcycled wardrobe.

Guest Bedroom

In this intimate guest bedroom, a harmonious blend of Paw Print and Trilby creates a sense of warmth and serenity. The rich, earthy tone of our mushroom taupe, Paw Print, envelops the woodwork, walls, and ceiling, setting the tone for a cosy retreat.

Meanwhile, our elegant Trilby frames the bed, inviting you to unwind and indulge in a restful slumber. The subtle contrast between the two colours creates a soothing visual balance, perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep.
