REAL HOMES | Eco Chic upcycling projects

Got a tired old piece of wooden furniture craving some TLC? Or maybe you’re just itching to try something new and creative? Either way, you’re in the right place! Our Eco Chic furniture paint makes upcycling a dream, and these real life projects are packed with personality, colour and clever ideas to help your next upcycling project.

Emma’s magical dollhouse makeover

We’re obsessed with Emma’s (@pagesofemma) latest creation – the dollhouse of dreams!

Inspired by her own home, Emma used Eco Chic to paint tiny versions of her favourite rooms (yes, including that dreamy Flora’s Tale bedroom that went viral!).

And to top it off, she added a whimsical Peter Rabbit themed attic.

The creativity doesn’t end there, though! The outside is a magical masterpiece, with intricate painted patterns around the dollhouse’s windows and doors that make this piece feel straight out of a storybook.

Using a playful palette of Sandy Castle, Gosh Golly, Gingham, Splashing, Cupcake and Sapling she’s totally transformed this dollhouse  – and we’re pretty sure her daughter is totally enchanted too!

Michelle’s bold and bright library

This library is anything but quiet– and we’re here for it!

Michelle (@thecornerflatldn) took her bookshelves from basic to bold using Eco Chic in our sunny yolky yellow, Humpty Dumpty, to give her shelves a new look.

With such a big project to tackle, Michelle loved that Eco Chic didn’t need a primer, so she could jump straight into painting.

Once everything was dry, she sealed her hard work with our buttery Furniture Wax, keeping it protected from scuffs and knocks.

The cherry on top? A rather satisfying array of colour coordinated books and trinkets that make this upcycle hard to forget!

Helen’s Moroccan inspired storage chest

It’s Summer all year round with Helen’s (@baliol.house) Moroccan inspired storage chest.

Thanks to the fast drying magic of Eco Chic furniture paint, she was able to layer up patterns using masking tape and hand paint intricate designs in no time at all.

Choosing colours from our Treat your Senses collection, alongside favourites likes Delilah, Hobby Wood and Humpty Dumpty, Helen has transported us to sunnier climes with a flick of a paint brush.
