How to apply Silicate Primer and Silicate Masonry Paint?

The two-part system is ideal for bare mineral surfaces but is not suitable for surfaces that have been previously painted in ‘plastic’ based conventional masonry paint.

First, apply a single full coat of Silicate Primer followed by two coats of Silicate Masonry Paint (first coat of which must be diluted with 20% Silicate Primer).

Please note, in order for the paint to successfully bond to the surface, the working temperature should be a minimum of 8°C and the moisture content of the wall should not exceed 20% or above.

Full application details can be found on our tins and data sheets.
